IT S that time of year again that girls in Potters Bar look forward to the most. Because the search for this year s carnival princess has begun. The Potters Bar Edition has once again teamed up with the organising committee to help crown a lucky youngster
IT'S that time of year again that girls in Potters Bar look forward to the most.
Because the search for this year's carnival princess has begun.
The Potters Bar Edition has once again teamed up with the organising committee to help crown a lucky youngster and two maids of honour.
Each week from now until the closing date in May we will be printing the application form for the most hotly-contested competition of the year.

Whoever wins will be following in the footsteps of last year's queen, Kerri Brennock, and her maids of honour, Demi Burnham and Amy Kay.
And the trio will find themselves pride of place at the front of this year's carnival procession, which will take place on Sunday, June 14.

The main beneficiary of the event will be The Hertfordshire Showband.
The cash will contribute towards the Potters Bar-based band's expenses in travelling to Holland for the World Band Championships.
The Potters Bar Edition will be printing more details about the carnival in the coming weeks, so keep an eye out.
