A MOTORISIED scooter driving pensioner collided with a van as she tried to cross the road.

The eighty-seven year old woman sat shocked on her mangled scooter before paramedics arrived at the scene just after 12pm today on Parkway, WGC.

She was able to walk to the ambulance that took her to the QE2 hospital.

This is the second collision in as many days in WGC after an 88-year-old pedestrian was knocked down on The Campus yesterday (Wednesday).
