Sainsbury’s in Potters Bar is looking for a new charity to support, as part of their local charity of the year scheme.

Over the next couple of months, Sainsbury’s will make a shortlist of charities that customers can vote for in stores and online.

The winning charity will then receive a year of support from the store, which includes fundraising and raising awareness.

Customers can vote for the charity of their choice from June 13 to June 26.

The local charity of the year scheme has raised more than £9million over the last seven years, and has helped thousands of charities across the UK.

Potters Bar store manager Jane Litchfield said: “There are so many fantastic charities in the local area who do brilliant work in our community.

“We’d love to hear from charities we haven’t supported before.”

To apply, register your interest at the customer service desk or kiosk at Sainsbury’s Potters Bar.

The closing date for nominations is Monday, May 9.
