Nina is a gorgeous one-year-old Doberman who was transferred to RSPCA Southridge from a vet.

A spokeswoman for the centre in Packhorse Lane said: “Sadly, she was injured in an accident which resulted in her losing her leg.

“Nina is a sweet girl who has adjusted well to life on three legs.

“She loves going for walks and enjoys running around and playing off lead in the compound.”

Nina is looking for a home with older children and someone who is around most of the day.

She would prefer to be the only pet in the home and would benefit from further training.

The RSPCA spokeswoman added: “Nina is a lovely girl, who unfortunately has had an unlucky start and really deserves a forever home.”

Cats Luna and Pippa are also featured in this week’s RSPCA Southridge Find Me A Home appeal.

Lovely Luna and Pippa are two female domestic shorthair crossbreeds who are approximately five years old.

They are looking for a new home together.

“They came from a multi-cat household, where their owner could no longer cope with all the animals,” explained the Southridge spokeswoman.

“They are very sweet cats. Luna is the shyest of the two and Pippa is more confident.

“They really deserve a forever home where they will receive love and TLC.”

Pippa and Luna need a quiet, calm adult home where they can settle in at their own pace.

They need to be the only cats in the house but could live with a friendly dog.

They need access outside, away from any busy roads, so that they can explore and sunbathe at their leisure.
