Albus the cat, Dilly the dog, and Twix the rabbit are this week’s trio at RSPCA Southridge looking for new owners in the Welwyn Hatfield Times Potters Bar Edition’s regular Find Me A Home appeal.

• Cute Dilly is a seven-year-old female Yorkshire Terrier.

She was originally rescued with two other dogs who have already been rehomed.

A spokeswoman for the RSPCA Centre in Packhorse Lane said: “Dilly is looking for a loving forever home where she will be adored and fussed.

“Dilly is a clever girl who knows quite a few commands including sit.”

She also gets on well with other dogs and she has previously lived with a cat.

“She is an active little dog who really deserves a second chance and a home to call her own,” added the Southridge spokeswoman.

• Albus is an eight-year-old male domestic shorthair.

He finds himself at Southridge due to his owner sadly passing away.

The RSPCA spokeswoman said: “He is a sweet boy who can be very timid and will hide if he is unsure.

“Once he begins to trust you and feels confident he is really sweet and cuddly.

“He has been used to a quiet home previously therefore he will need to go to an adult only home.”

He could possibly live with a friendly dog or another cat and needs access to the outdoors.

• Twix is a small, lion head crossbreed rabbit who is around a year old.

He will need to be rehomed to a house with an existing female rabbit for company.

Twix will require a large spacious enclosure/hutch and run that meets the RSPCA size requirements.
