Tiger the cat, Diesel the dog and Snowy the rabbit are this week’s trio of pets at RSPCA Southridge looking for new homes in the Welwyn Hatfield Times Potters Bar Edition’s regular Find Me A Home appeal.

• Terrific Tiger is a sweet five-year-old domestic shorthair male cat looking for an indoor home.

A spokeswoman for the RSPCA centre in Packhorse Lane said: “Since he has been at Southridge he has grown in confidence and has a very friendly temperament.”

Tiger could live happily with a calm dog and children over the age of 14, and will need to be kept as a single cat.

“Tiger came to Southridge RSPCA as a stray, if you think you can offer him a forever home he would love to meet you,” added the spokeswoman for the animal centre in Ridge, Potters Bar.

• Delightful Diesel is a six-month-old male Staffordshire Bull Terrier puppy.

He is currently recovering from an injury, so is on strict cage rest for now, but hopefully when he is recovered he will be back to his playful, energetic self.

The RSPCA Southridge spokeswoman said: “He is a really friendly boy, who we think should be OK to be homed with another dog.

“He would be best suited to an adult home.

“This sweet boy really deserves a loving home to call his own.”

• Snowy is a cheeky young male lop cross rabbit who needs a new home as he was found as a stray and not claimed.

He will be paired with another rabbit.

Snowy requires spacious living quarters and access to grass as he enjoys nibbling the day away.
