Can you find a home for Midnight the dog?
A “friendly” dog who finds herself back at RSPCA Southridge for a second time is looking for a new owner.
Midnight the dog, and Holly and Roxy the cats are this week’s trio of pets looking for new owners in our regular RSPCA Southridge rehoming appeal.
• Marvellous Midnight is an eight-year-old female Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
A Southridge spokeswoman said: “She unfortunately finds herself back at the centre for the second time as sadly her owner became unwell and had a change in circumstances.
“She is a really lovely, friendly girl who enjoys a fuss and enjoys her walks.”
Midnight is selective with which dogs she likes, so she needs to be the only pet in the home.
“We are looking for an adult home, who are around for most of the day,” added the RSPCA spokeswoman.
• Lovely Holly and Roxy are looking for a new home together.
Holly is a 12-year-old female tortoiseshell domestic semi-longhair, while Roxy is a seven-year old female, tabby domestic shorthair.
The Southridge spokeswoman said: “They are looking for a new home through no fault of their own.
“Holly is a little timid since arriving at the centre, but hopefully as she settles in her confidence will grow.
“Roxy is a sweet affectionate girl once she knows you.”
Southridge say the pair could be rehomed with calm, sensible teenagers, as they have never lived with children before.
They could possibly live with a friendly dog and will need access to the outdoors away from any busy roads.
The spokeswoman for the centre in Packhorse Lane added: “If you think you could give them a loving new home please get in touch with the centre or come and visit.”
• If you are interested in rehoming any of the animals featured this week, the RSPCA centre in Ridge, Potters Bar, is open from 11am to 4.15pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Southridge is also open on Sundays from 1pm to 4.15pm.
