Archant

MINNIE originally came into Southridge RSPCA Animal Centre in Packhorse Lane, South Mimms, last year after she was dumped in a box by some rubbish bins outside a block of flats.

She had literally been thrown away!

Minnie, a neutered tortoiseshell, was rehomed but then returned because the owner said she was not affectionate enough.

If an animal has never been shown love and kindness they will not know how to accept or return it. It all takes time and patience.

Staff at Southridge just hope someone will accept Minnie as she is, as at the moment she is suspicious of people she doesn’t know and takes a long time to trust anyone.

But this is not surprising given her history, and the RSPCA workers would love to change that for her.

Minnie is looking for a quiet home, where she would probably be happiest as the only cat.

She is not suitable to live with a dog or children.

Poor Minnie is a sad cat who really deserves a better life.

If you can offer her one, please contact the centre on 0300 123 0704 or email southridge@rspca.org.uk

You can also visit any day except Wednesdays from 11am until 4.15pm (from 1pm on Sundays).
