ROADS remain closed in Welwyn village after a huge blaze ripped through The Wellington pub earlier today (Tuesday).
More than 50 firefighters tackled the inferno at the historic 14th century pub and restaurant, in High Street, just after 4.15am.
High Street, Church Road, and part of Codicote Road, near St Mary's Church, will stay closed for the remainder of today, while fire officers investigate the cause of the fire.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area completely.
