ROAD safety was made cool by talented kids who gave up their summer holiday time to complete a mural this week.
Youngsters taking part in the Welwyn and Hatfield Summer Sizzler (as featured in last week's WHT Lifestyle page) completed the artwork at Breaks Manor Youth club within five days.
The Summer Sizzler, which has been organised by Youth Connexions, features a number of things for children to do over the summer break, including completing this fantastic design at the Hatfield social group.
Mandy Pynn at Youth Connexions helped organise the Link Drive event.
She said: "The design was chose, because opposite to that wall is an area where children from 13 and above can safely learn how to ride a motorbike under close supervision, on a Tuesday and Thursday evening.
"So therefore the children thought it was appropriate to have a road safety message.
"It was a really good event; it look's fantastic."
