A WOMAN who claimed she had a gun has been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Two roads were cordoned off for four hours as police and ambulance crews raced to south Hatfield.
Both Drakes Way and Cooks Way were closed from around 10.30pm on Wednesday last week and some residents were unable to return to their homes.
Six police cars, a police van, an armoured police Land Rover, and two dog units were called in to deal with the potential threat.
Officers gained access to the property and the woman was detained and taken to the QE2 Hospital.
