A duck that had to be rescued from a plastic bottle fastener is well on the mend - and has even found himself a girl.
The unfortunate animal was rescued by the RSPCA at Mill Green Museum back in January, after he was found in the grounds with the fastener around the top of his beak and head.
This meant he was unable to feed.
But the mallard has shown no ill-effects from his ordeal and has now become a permanent fixture at the musuem, where he has also been spotted with his new lady friend.
The pair have been spending a lot of time together according to museum staff.
They are both currently nameless so if you have any suggestions, please get in touch.
