Remembrance Sunday services in Potters Bar and South Mimms

The sacrifices made by the armed forces in wartime will be remembered in traditional ceremonies in Potters Bar and South Mimms on Sunday.
In Potters Bar from 10.20am, borough councillors will join a parade to the war memorial in Mutton Lane by Oakmere Park, where a short ceremony and wreath-laying will take place, followed by a service at 11.30am at St Mary the Virgin and All Saints Church in The Walk.
In South Mimms, a wreath-laying ceremony at the war memorial by The White Hart Pub at 10.45am will be followed by a service at St Giles and St Margaret’s Church in Blanche Lane at 11.15am.
Elsewhere in Hertsmere, borough councillors will attend ceremonies in Shenley, Elstree, Radlett, Borehamwood, and Letchmore Heath.
