PROLONGED applause rippled through the crowd as war veterans took part in a Remembrance Sunday parade in WGC.
Accompanied by a brass band, the ex-servicemen and women were also joined by rainbows, guides and brownies as they marched from College Way to the cenotaph in Howardsgate.
Following the procession, the mayor of Welwyn Hatfield, Kim Langley, laid a wreath at the war memorial.
