Archant

A two-year-old Welwyn Garden City girl was full of beans – literally – this afternoon, after she sat in a box of them for charity.

Mia Connell took on the challenge in The Howard Centre for Red Nose Day, after being inspired by a similar fundraiser online.

Equipped with goggles, and with a little help from her family, she even had some poured on her head, as amused onlookers gleefully donated to the cause.

Her mum Lisa told the Welwyn Hatfield Times: “I’m so proud I’m actually lost for words.

“She was actually better than I thought she would be.
