A RECYCLING road show is coming to Potters Bar today (Monday).

The event, which has been organised by Hertsmere Borough Council as part of national Recycle Week, is being held to encourage residents to waste less and re-use more.

It takes place outside the Tally Ho camera shop in Darkes Lane between 11am and 2pm.

Jean Heywood, the council's environment portfolio holder, said: "From recycling more of your everyday items like plastic bottles and cardboard, to reusing carrier bags or composting at home, there are lots of opportunities to reduce the amount of waste we send to landfill.
