A RECOUNT has been called in the Handside ward of WGC at the Welwyn Hatfield local elections today (Friday).
The seat is being fought by Tony Skottowe, leader of the Liberal Democrats in Welwyn Hatfield, Conservative candidate Chris Corry and Labour hopeful John Pomroy.
The recount was ordered by the Tories, with one source at the count in Campus West saying there could be as little as eight votes in it.
