ONE of the rarest aircrafts in the world landed in Times Territory lastweek.
Designed for the elite rich and built for extreme comfort, there are only a mere few Spartan Executive 7W still flying.
However, this week one arrived at Panshanger Aerodrome for a maintenance check-up.
The aircraft, which is owned by Nigel Pickard, was at the North London Flying School for its MOT, which was done by the engineer at the airfield - Stuart Reeves.
Built by hand, in the 1930s, only 36 Executives were manufactured and today only around five are still flying.
For more on this see this week's Welwyn & Hatfield Times.
