Ramraider targets Welwyn Garden City designer clothes shop

A RAMRAIDER smashed into the front of a designer clothes store in Welwyn Garden City last night (Monday).

The Land Rover was driven into Tabrizi, in Wigmores North, just before midnight, but nothing was taken.

Police have arrested a 32-year-old man, from WGC.

A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called at 11.55pm on July 1, to reports of a vehicle having driven into the front of a shop in Wigmores North.

“Officers attended the scene and a short time later a man was arrested. The 32 year old from WGC remains in custody at this time.

“Nothing is believed to have been stolen. The vehicle was a Land Rover which was green with a white roof.

“Anyone who witnessed what happened or who has any information which would assist the police should call the Herts Police non-emergency number 101.”
