INVESTIGATIONS into the mysterious and suspicious death of a ram are continuing.

Last week the Welwyn Hatfield Times revealed how the ram may have been torched to death in a sick arson attack.

Police have revealed they are consulting the Royal Veterinary College, in North Mymms, to try and work out what killed the animal.

Police are carrying out tests to find out what killed the male sheep, which was found dead in Tewin Water, near Welwyn Garden City.

This week, a Hertfordshire Constabulary spokeswoman said: “We are still consulting with the Royal Veterinary College and enquiries are still ongoing.”
