A street in Hatfield has been cleaned up after being littered with rubbish.

This morning on the junction of Ellenbrook Lane and St Albans Road West the street was covered in shredded paper, which was quickly cleaned up by Serco.

One resident commented on Facebook: “Serco guys did a splendid job cleaning this mess up.”

A spokeswoman for the Welwyn Hatfield Council said: “The shredded paper on the junction of Ellenbrook Lane and St Albans Road West in Hatfield was reported this morning and a Serco crew went out to clear it as soon as they could.”
