A PUBLIC meeting has been called to discuss proposals to build a �200m incinerator next to a special school in Hatfield.
Campaign group Action Hatfield has called the meeting over the county council's plans for a waste burner at New Barnfield, next to Southfield School, in Travellers Lane.
Group chairman Mike Hobday said: "There's enormous public concern about the proposed incinerator, but local residents haven't been given enough information to help them understand the proposal."
The meeting will be held at the Hilltop Hall, next to the Harrier pub in Bishops Rise, Hatfield, on Monday, June 1 at 7pm.
