The Welwyn Garden City Centenary Foundation is inviting people along to a meeting to learn about progress on plans to mark the town’s milestone.

The public meeting will take place at the Focolare Centre at 69 Parkway, Welwyn Garden City.

Doors open at 7.30pm on Wednesday, November 8, with tea and coffee served on arrival.

A WGC Centenary Foundation spokesman said: “You are invited to come along to hear about progress made since our very first public meeting more than three years ago and learn about ways in which you might like to be involved.

“Perhaps you are already planning your own event and would like some guidance, or would like to volunteer to support one already chosen.

“This is an opportunity to meet the members of the delivery group and also the teams set up to manage the fourteen signature projects.

“We very much look forward to seeing you there.”

RSVP no later than Friday, November 3, to info@wgccentenary.org
