AN internationally renowned expert in behaviour in schools is coming to the University of Hertfordshire to give a lecture.

Professor Bill Rogers, who is a Hertfordshire man, will be at the Hatfield-based university next Wednesday, January 16.

The professor, who has taken the world by storm with his practical approach to tackling challenging behaviour and discipline issues, will give two talks.

The first, from 9am until noon, will focus on primary education; the second, from 1pm to 4pm will look at secondary education.

The speech will include topics such as challenging pupil behaviour, positive discipline techniques, managing anger and helping students with special behaviour needs.
