Premier League trophy to be displayed at Welwyn Garden City pub tonight

Football fans will be able to get their hands on the real Premier League trophy this evening (Thursday) as it will be displayed at a Welwyn Garden City pub.

Residents can achieve what Steven Gerrard never could and clutch English football’s most prestigious prize at The Two Willows in Parkway.

The pub has scored an appearance with the cup, which will be displayed ahead of Arsenal’s Europa League clash with Red Star Belgrade.

Two Willows’ general manager Robert Milburn said: “We’re renown for our sports and attract fans from every nation and every club so it’s a great chance for even those who might not get to see their own club lift the trophy, to get their hands on the legendary prize.”

He added that photos will be on a first come first served basis and advised residents to warm up with a couple pints before forming an orderly queue.
