A PREGNANT woman who killed a cyclist has avoided going to prison.
Debra Kelly, 38, had admitted causing the death of father-of-four Kenneth Lush by careless driving.
The 47-year-old Hatfield businessman had been travelling home to Ware on the A414, when his bike was struck from behind.
At St Albans Crown Court this morning (Friday), Kelly, of Tubbs Croft, WGC, was given a 24-week jail term, suspended for two years.
Kelly, who is due to give birth in six weeks, was also ordered to carry out 240 hours community service and pay 2,500 costs.
