POTTERS Bar Town FC kicked off their Ryman League campaign in style yesterday (Saturday).
The Parkfield club scored an excellent 1-0 victory away at last season's Ryman League Cup winners Tilbury.
A disciplined and hard-working display from the young Scholars was rewarded with a 70th minute winner from striker Jordan Watson.
Town manager Adam Lee fielded a team with just one player over the age of 21 and the youngsters repaid his faith in them by earning the three points.
Bar will be looking to add to their tally on Tuesday night when they host Redbridge at Parkfield, kick-off 7.45pm.
