POTTERS Bar Town's winless run continued as they went down 3-0 at promotion hopefuls Brentwood Town yesterday (Saturday).
A disastrous start saw the Scholars go one behind after just 60 seconds when a Nicky Symons free-kick from the left was turned home by Steve King at the back post.
Things didn't get any better for Adam Lee's side when Symons converted himself from a quickly taken set-piece that caught out the away defence on 10 minutes.
Playing into the wind during the first period didn't help Bar's cause as they struggled to make an impact on the match.
They did have more of the game in the second half, but the Blues were never really tested.
Brentwood rounded off the scoring in injury time as the lively Sherwin Stanley blasted home a volley from 12 yards against one of his former clubs to compound Bar's misery.
