Rachel King, who moved to Potters Bar recently, has found herself running all over the Tesco parking lot in search of the elusive trolleys that will carry her toddler twins.

“As far as I’m aware, there’s literally two of them there,” said Rachel.

When she told the Facebook group Potters Bar Mums, she sparked a massive response, and took her concerns to customer service.

“I think dozens of parents, grandparents and carers will be affected,” said Rachel.

“You want to put your kid in a trolley to stop them grabbing things and avoid general chaos!

“Getting my kids out of the house is enough of a drama.”

She added that she wants to shop at a more local supermarket, especially when time is tight and she just needs a few things.

A spokesperson from Tesco said: “We are happy to confirm we’ve ordered more dual seater trolleys for our Potters Bar store which will be available for customers shortly.”
