Police investigating an attack on a fast food outlet in Potters Bar have released a picture of a man they want to speak to.

A man kicked in the locked front door of McDonald’s in Darkes Lane at about 9.50pm on Wednesday, after staff at the drive-through area explained they could not serve him.

The sliding front door was kicked off its frame, and the drive-through window at the back of the restaurant was also damaged.

A spokeswoman said: “Police would like to speak to the man pictured as he may have been in the area at the time and could have information which may assist with the investigation.”

Anyone who recognises the person pictured is asked to contact PC Paul Francis via the Hertfordshire Constabulary non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference J3/15/99.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, the independent charity, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
