Everyone is being invited to honour troops and veterans during the Potters Bar Remembrance Day service.

This year’s parade will take place on Sunday, November 11, with a march from St Mary’s Church in The Walk, to the War Memorial on The High Street.

A Service of Remembrance will take place with a two-minute silence at 11am.

Oliver Dowden MP will be attending as well as representatives from Hertsmere, the Town Band and other organisations.

After the remembrance service the parade will return to St Mary’s for a short service.

The church has been specially decorated by the local Brownies to mark the 100 years of the Armistice.

Everyone is welcome to attend.
