Youngsters in Potters Bar have raised hundreds of pounds for two charities.

On Friday, November 18, pupils from Ladbrooke JMI School dressed in spots and onesies and raised £291.90, which is being split between Children in Need (CIN) and Diabetes UK.

Pudsey Bear also visited the school to find out how the pupils would be raising money.

Headteacher Tracey Webster, said: “We are always happy to support Children in Need and Diabetes UK and this year has been no exception.

“We were very excited to receive a visit from Pudsey thanks to Lloyds Bank. The pupils loved it and it was great to have all their fundraising efforts acknowledged.”

CIN raised a record £46.6m, on the night of its annual show last Friday.

Last November’s Children in Need show raised £37.1m on the night.

CIN helps children across the UK and funds local projects such as WGC’s Isabel Hospice.
