Potters Bar nominees unveiled

CANDIDATES for the borough council elections on Thursday, May 1 have been announced. Thirteen seats on Hertsmere Borough Council are up for grabs – three of which are in Potters Bar....

CANDIDATES for the borough council elections on Thursday, May 1 have been announced.

Thirteen seats on Hertsmere Borough Council are up for grabs - three of which are in Potters Bar.

All three wards are straight fights between the Conservative and Labour nominees.

James Fisher (Lab) faces Peter Knell (Con) in the Furzefield ward.

Martin Heywood (Con) will take on Russell Ramshaw (Lab) in Oakmere.

And John Donne (Con) will be up against Pierre Tengwo (Lab) in Parkfield.

Polling stations open from 7am to 10pm.

Votes will be counted the following day.

To vote in the forthcoming elections you must be registered.
