Potters Bar man sentenced for drink driving after BMW smash

A Potters Bar man has been sentenced for drink driving after a BMW 7 Series collided with a tree and caught fire.
Police officers were called to the crash in Stagg Hill near Potters Bar, at 11.14pm on Sunday, September 25, and 27-year-old Arkadiusz Bieniek was charged.
The Margarets Close resident pleaded guilty at St Albans Magistrates’ Court two days later and was forced to pay a £600 fine, £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months.
