The Potters Bar crash left the pair with multiple fractures


A head-on collision in Potters Bar left two people with multiple fractures last night.

The two car collision in Cecil Road, South Mimms, occurred at around 8pm.

A man and woman both sustained leg fractures and head injuries, and the man also sustained a broken jaw and pelvis.

Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle and a volunteer doctor were sent to the scene, and were aided by police and fire services.

Special Lukas cutting equipment was used to cut the pair from their car, who were then taken to St Mary’s Hospital in London, in a stable condition.
