A GAMING store has been given the go-ahead today (Friday) despite 500 letters of objection.
Hertsmere Borough councillors told residents at a licensing hearing the store planned for Darkes Lane, Potters Bar, can open.
Concerns had been raised by businessmen and residents who believed the adult gaming store would take advantage of vulnerable adults and children.
The arcade will open from 10am to 10pm with door supervision onsite from 3pm to 5pm to discourage schoolchildren.
