IT hasn't even opened yet, but already the new gambling arcade in Potters Bar is courting fresh controversy.
With about three weeks to go before the much-opposed adult gaming centre begins trading on Darkes Lane, owner Leisureworld has submitted an application to split the premises in two.
And a further application, received by the Hertsmere licensing committee, is bidding for a second adult gaming licence.
If granted, it means the company can theoretically double the number of fruit machines originally permitted on the site.
