CROWDS flocked to Oakmere Park in Potters Bar for the town’s annual family fun day.
Visitors enjoyed a range of activities, including a fun fair, a ju-jitsu display and Irish dancing.
And as the mercury soared, the Pimm’s tent and barbecue proved equally popular.
A number of voluntary organisations and charities from Potters Bar and beyond also attended, giving them an important opportunity to raise awareness of their work.
These included the Potters Bar Children with Special Needs Group, Great Ormond Street Hospital and St John Ambulance.
The free event, now in its ninth year, is organised by the Rotary Club of Potters Bar, with the assistance of Hertsmere Borough Council, which allows Oakmere Park to be used for the day for free.
Organiser John Godfrey told the Potters Bar Edition: “It was a very good day.
“The weather was exceptional and the turnout was very good too.”
He added: “This event isn’t a money-making exercise for Rotary.
“It is one of the things that we do in the community to show that we care about other charities and their work.”
