According to Herts Fire Control a tanker of diesel has been allowed to burn during the night overseen by units from Potters Bar fire station.

One fire engine is still on the scene and there has not yet been a stop message to say the fire is out.

The fire at Dancers Hill Road, next to the M25, started at around 3.10pm and took 12 pumps to get the blaze under control.
