Potters Bar Football Club are set to unveil their new £200k facilities at a grand opening next week.
The club has renovated their clubhouse facilities, which included the kitchen and servery area, and also installed a new roof and improvements to the building’s heating system.
It means Potters Bar now meets the FA National Ground Grading Criteria for their new Step 3 position, after they were promoted last season.
The work was funded by a £150k grant from the Premier League, through the Football Stadia Improvement Fund (FSIF), and a £50k Sport England Inspired Facilities Fund grant.
The FSIF is funded with £6.5m each year from the Premier League. It is the country’s largest provider of grants towards projects that help improve the comfort and safety of lower-league football grounds
The new facilities will be officially unveiled on Thursday, June 14, at 12pm.
