ROBBERS attacked a man and threatened his family as they broke into his home.
The Potters Bar resident was struck in the ribs as he answered his doorbell in Highview Gardens.
The three attackers then stormed in stealing a “number of items”, threatening his wife and demanding cash, while the couple’s children were left unharmed.
The raiders left with the family’s possessions in a silver Peugeot.
Detective constable Sally Muntane is investigating the robbery which happened on Saturday, February 19, between 10pm and 10.30pm.
She said: “This is a particularly scary incident for the couple.
“We believe that the offenders had meant to target another property.”
