POTTERS Bar Town and Cockfosters drew their FA Cup preliminary round clash 1-1 at the South Mimms Travel Stadium yesterday (Saturday).
The Scholars were left kicking themselves after dominating the tie and missing chance after chance to seal their place in the first qualifying round of the world famous knockout competition.
Cockfosters started brightly and took the lead on 19 minutes when Dean Barker tapped in from a yard.
Less than five minutes later, the scores were level.
Town forward Shayne Wyllie slotted home after winning possession on the edge of the visitors' box.
From then on Adam Lee's troops dominated proceedings, but missed enough clear-cut chances to have hit double figures.
The two sides face a replay on Tuesday night.
