CASH from a county councillor has come as a breath of fresh air to a support group for people with lung conditions.
Cllr Eddie Roach, who represents Potters Bar East, has given 400 from his locality budget to Breathe Easy West Herts.
Part of the British Lung Foundation, the group is run on voluntary donations, and the funding will help towards hall rental for meetings, newsletter printing and stationery.
Cllr Roach said: “Breathe Easy groups benefit people who have lung conditions and suffer from breathing difficulties by providing mutual support and help from talks by health professionals.”
