Christ Church Little Heath’s big day was on Wednesday, October 10 with celebrations starting a little earlier with a concert from the Life and Mission Choir.

The church, based in Great North Road, was packed for the performance of ‘Wise Man, Foolish Man’.

On the day of the anniversary, families listened to testimonies from some of the older members of the church.

The Loaves and Fishes cafe was also extended to provide food and refreshments for everyone in attendance.

At the weekend, the celebrations continued with a family barn dance, bringing together people from the ages of four to 70 and upwards. The anniversary celebrations concluded with words from previous ministers, songs of worship and words from the bible.
