Potters Bar’s MP has launched a competition asking children in Hertsmere to design his Christmas cards for this year.

It is aimed at youngsters of primary school age who live in the borough, with the winning four designs receiving 100 copies of their own card along with a prize.

MP Oliver Dowden said: “I send hundreds of Christmas cards every year to local people and community organisations, many of whom have an inspirational story to tell.

“This year I wanted to have a Christmas card that reflects the creative skills of our local children. I am looking forward to receiving all the entries.”

The designs must be on A4 (portrait or landscape), using any medium, but entries must be flat. For more information email oliver@oliverdowden.com or call 0207 2193415.
