Potters Bar businessman paves way for awards success
A POTTERS Bar business-man is looking forward to following in the footsteps of Richard Branson – literally.
Kevin Canning, director of Marshall K Paving Contractors, is celebrating after his brickwork company scooped two gongs at a prestigious industry- wide awards ceremony.
Marshall K Paving took home both Installer of the Year and Best Project Design at the Brett Approved Installer Awards, an annual ceremony recognising the best highway and patio installation businesses in the UK.
The Installer of the Year award bagged Kevin a luxury break to Richard Branson’s five-star retreat Kasbah Tamadot, in Morocco.
“I’ll be going when I get a bit of time off!” said Kevin. “I’ll probably do it for my wife’s birthday.

For Kevin, the double win at the awards came at an opportune time.

“But winning these awards will certainly give us a boost.
“As a company we endeavour to exceed our customers’ expectations and provide a service that exceeds all the competition. In this climate having that edge is important.”
