Police are investigating a burglary in Potters Bar in which jewellery and cash was stolen.

Officers were called at 8.03pm on Friday, January 25, to reports of a burglary at a property in Windmore Avenue.

The incident occurred between 7.32pm and 7.48pm, when a man saw two offenders climbing out of a neighbour’s window.

The pair smashed a patio window and got in through the patio door.

They then made a mess inside as they searched for valuables.

The offenders were described as two men, one was wearing a black puffa jacket with a hood and the other was in a black jacket with the hood up.
