A BANK was sealed off this afternoon (Tuesday) as a security guard feared he was going to be robbed.
Large numbers of police officers surrounded Barclays Bank, in Potters Bar, after the Loomis worker dashed into the Darkes Lane branch at 1.25pm.
A police spokeswoman said they are treating it as a “suspicious incident” but are no longer looking for anyone.
“The worker (who was carrying cash) came out of the bank and noticed two males in their 20s running towards him and he came straight back in.
“However, there is nothing to suggest they were looking to rob him, they could have just been running for another reason.”
