Potters Bar and Hatfield have been crowned as the best commuter towns in an Olympic themed test.
TheHouseShop, a free advertising property service, put British towns and cities to the test, in an attempt to find out where the best locations to live in the UK are.
In the category ‘best commuter town’ Potters Bar was found to be the best place for commuters to live outside of London, with the journey into King’s Cross taking just 16 minutes with an annual ticket costing £2,900.
Hatfield came third after Ebbsfleet, Hatfield’s service into London takes just 22 minutes with an annual ticket costing £3,752.
