Ongoing roadwork in Welwyn Garden City includes resurfacing and filling in large potholes.

Roadworks in Knightsfield began on Monday, August 8, and are expected to continue until the end of this week.

Kevin Carrol, Ringway divisional manager, working on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council, said: “These works are focussed on repairing the existing speed humps and the worst areas of the road surface, including large potholes, following a number of reports from local residents.

“The road markings in these areas are also being renewed as part of these works.”
